The Good Ship AS/S
SPOILER ALERT

Just because I knew it was happening and to prove the fandom will continue...my first fanfic post-DH. Well post-DH spoilers *grins*

Yes, I have taken one of the epilogue spoilers and written pre-slash...enter only if you wish to see the names of possible children that may have sprung from the loins of some people that really don't belong together and know that the fandom will survive...

I won't give pairings just cause it is a spoiler. I won't give time frame or anything. Read at your own risk. Written very quickly and without beta, because I just can't spoil her...

Al was a bit nervous after he left his dad in the station and climbed on board the Hogwart’s Express. James had left him and found his own friends. He thought he might be able to stay with Rosie on the trip, but she saw her friend Coriander, Lavender Brown’s daughter.

He walked down the hall to a deserted compartment and sat down. He was so nervous. What if no one liked him? What if someone hexed him before they got to Hogwarts?

He gazed out the window watching the trees fly by, seeing the animals in the fields. He looked up when the compartment door opened and in walked that Malfoy kid. Al was beginning to get nervous. Hugo had told him all about the Malfoys.

“You’re the Potter kid, aren’t you?” Scorpius demanded.

“You’re Malfoy, right?” he replied with a question.

Scorpius just nodded his head as he shut the door behind him. He sat down across from Al and studied him. “You know, we can do this one of two ways. We can continue our fathers’ rivalry or we can just start out by being friends. I know that is what my father would like.”

Al was shocked by this. He didn’t expect Scorpius to actually want to be friends. “Um, sure, that would be good,” he said quietly looking into the grey eyes staring at him.

“Well that is good. We are now best friends and everyone else can kiss our ass,” Scorpius declared as he sat back and studied his new friend.

They talked about a few odds and ends when the door was slammed open and in walked James and his friend Thomas. “What are you doing with this prat?” he demanded.

Al sputtered before Scorpius jumped in. “I’m sorry if my presence disturbs you. I had thought that it was high time the rivalry ended. Fortunately for you, so does your brother. If you don’t mind, please leave us. We were discussing how our fathers use to snog when no one was looking.”

James sputtered as Al laughed at Scorpius. “You know, James,” he said, “apparently Dad is a really good kisser.”

James turned red and walked out muttering that their father was going to hear about this.

The two boys laughed and continued to build their friendship.

When it came time for the sorting, Al’s fears came true. He was sorted into Slytherin, but found that his housemate was Scorpius. They walked down to their common rooms together talking about the rivalry.

Once they were in their new rooms, Scorpius began looking around. He pulled out a drawer and under the side of it was a map. “Just where Father left it. He said it was a map of Hogwarts. He got it from your dad. He snuck it in here a few years ago and made sure that only I could get it.”

“So it is really true about our dads?”

“Yeah, they still keep it hidden, but that’s okay. If you ever start to develop a crush on me, just let me know. We can be open about our relationship,” Scorpius said as he looked at the map. “Now what was that password?”

“I solemnly swear I am up to no good?” Al supplied to his friend. “Dad told me to remember that just in case.”

They moved in close together as they watched the map unfold before them with a mysterious message.

“Welcome new marauders. You have been chosen as the next to carry on a great legacy. Give Filch hell.”

Al looked at Scorpius and smiled, “Looks like we have some mischief to make. I say we make our dads proud.”

Scorpius just smiled at him and brushed a lock of stray hair out of his eyes. “Sure, and don’t forget what I said. You are cute and if you ever want to be more than friends…”

Al nodded his head, “I will remember that.”

The boys put their heads together and started plotting their first prank for James.

For those that did not click, remember to come back on Saturday after you have finished. Long live the fandom!!

btw...did you know that Trevor kills voldemort?
